Planning and Design 

Site Selection: Choosing the location for the house. Design: Creating architectural plans, including layout, materials, and aesthetics. Permits: Obtaining necessary building permits and approvals from local authorities.

Site Preparation

Clearing the Site: Removing vegetation, rocks, and debris. Excavation: Digging for foundations, basements, or utilities. Grading: Leveling the ground to ensure proper drainage.

 Foundation

Footings: Pouring concrete for footings that will support the structure. Foundation Walls: Constructing walls (block, poured concrete, etc.) for the basement or crawl space. Waterproofing: Applying waterproofing measures to prevent moisture intrusion.

 Framing

Structural Framework: Building the skeleton of the house, including walls, floors, and roof trusses. Sheathing: Adding plywood or OSB to exterior walls and roofs for structural integrity.

 Rough-In

Plumbing: Installing water supply and drainage pipes. Electrical: Running wiring and installing boxes for outlets, switches, and fixtures': Installing ductwork and systems for heating and cooling.

 Exterior Work

Roofing: Installing shingles, tiles, or other roofing materials. Siding: Adding exterior cladding (vinyl, wood, stucco, etc.). Windows and Doors: Installing all exterior openings.

 Interior Work

Insulation: Adding insulation in walls, floors, and ceilings. Drywall: Installing and finishing drywall for walls and ceilings. Flooring: Laying down flooring materials (hardwood, tile, carpet, etc.).

 Finishing Touches

Cabinets and Countertops: Installing kitchen and bathroom cabinetry and countertops. Painting: Painting walls and trim. Fixtures: Installing lights, faucets, and other hardware.

 Landscaping

Exterior Features: Planting trees, shrubs, and grass; adding patios, walkways, and driveways.

 Final Inspection and Handover

Final Walkthrough: Conducting a final inspection with contractors to ensure everything is complete. Obtain Occupancy Permit: Getting approval from local authorities for occupancy. Homeowner Handover: Transferring ownership and providing warranties.

 Post-Construction

Maintenance: Regular upkeep of the home and any landscaping. Each of these stages may have sub-tasks and specific timelines, depending on the size and complexity of the project.
